The Birdwell family legacy in West Texas
spans four generations,
rooted in the rugged
landscapes of cattle and cotton farming. They
were pioneers of the plains, raising cattle

"What an amazing experience I had at the Five
Birds Ranch. The hosting, amenities, dining and
atmosphere are top notch. I was there for the
weekend and was able to shoot a good variety of
ducks. The best part of the weekend for me was I
was able to take my dog with me for some
training and was able to get him on some good
farm-raised mallards. I would highly recommend
the hunt, and if you have a four-legged friend
that needs some tuning up or just to keep them
fresh — this is the place."
